How did we get our start?
Over 40 years ago, Arthur Lansky Levine, a medical student, invented the Controlled-Angle Sharpening System to enhance the sharpness of surgical tools. Merging his medical background with retail experience from his family’s outdoor store, he founded Lansky Sharpeners in his parent’s basement in 1979. Today, Lansky Sharpeners is a leading brand, pushing to innovate even still.
