From the brand

NexStride was developed by our CEO, Sidney, for a veteran with Parkinson’s who needed access to visual and auditory signals to be able to walk independently. He knew these cues worked because he used them with his physical therapist, but he wanted to be able to use them at home to be able to remain self-reliant. With NexStride, he is able to go to the bathroom by himself, take walks with his wife, and live his life, all without fear of falling.

Now, NexStride is used in homes across the country, as well as over 100 physical therapy clinics (including Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Muhammad Ali Center, and Dignity Health).
At NexStride, our mission as a company is to help people with mobility disorders be able to walk safely, independently, and confidently outside of the clinic, allowing people to move within their homes and maintain a fulfilling quality of life.

Who are we?
NexStride is a small team of dedicated engineers and scientists working to improve the day-to-day lives of those suffering from walking difficulties.
What is NexStride?
NexStride is a small device that attaches to any cane, walker or walking pole. Its integrated metronome sound and green laser line signals are available on-demand to help you walk safely and consistently.
What problem are we solving?
We want you to enjoy your life without a fear of falling. With NexStride, you can take a stroll outside, attend your favorite community events, and get around the house more easily.
How does NexStride work?
Falls and walking difficulties can happen if there is a disconnect between the brain and body. Visual and auditory signals re-connect the brain and body and allow people to walk more effectively.
Are these signals backed by research?
Yes! There are over 100 peer-reviewed articles that have been published showing the efficacy of these visual and auditory signals.
What makes NexStride unique?
NexStride is the only cueing device that can be used on any walking aid and has on-demand assistance. NexStride is small, portable and customizable; use it how you want, when you want.

NexStride is a portable device that puts on-demand visual and auditory signals at your fingertips, to help you overcome walking difficulties resulting from Parkinson’s, stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, brain injury, or age-related frailty
The auditory signal is a metronome that activates the brain to move the body in time with the beat, enabling you to keep a consistent walking speed, navigate turns and adjust for varied terrain.
The visual signal is a green laser line projected on the ground in front of the feet, that triggers the goal oriented part of the brain, enabling you to step over the line and take longer, healthier steps
Easy to set up, NexStride attaches to your preferred walking aid (rollator, walker, cane or walking poles) and allows you to use the signals on demand to overcome movement challenges, including avoiding Parkinson’s freezing of gait, and breaking a freeze.
No online registration, phone app, or bluetooth required. Rechargeable battery gives 6-8 hours continuous use.
